Ryan is Ready For You Now is a celebrity journalism memoir, chronicling my extensive career in the entertainment industry.

I spent three years writing it and eventually published the book in lockdown. It tells the story of my extraordinary career in showbiz journalism in the UK and Hollywood, and is a romp of a read for both journalists and those who are fascinated by the lives of the rich and famous.

In the book, I share personal anecdotes, such as memorable interviews and encounters with celebrities including Huge Jackman, Harrison Ford, Scarlett Johansson, Betty White, Daniel Craig and Charlize Theron, while also giving practical advice on how to conduct interviews.

Ryan is Ready For You Now is both a guide for aspiring journalists and a revealing look into the world of celebrity media.

Ryan is now in the libraries of many universities across the UK and I have given lectures on its content at the University of Gloucester, City of London University, Birmingham University, Sheffield University, Cardiff University, Winchester University and Oxford Brookes.
